VideoVerse Child Safety Standards
VideoVerse Ltd
Protecting children
VideoVerse prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). A child is anyone under 18. These standards apply to livestreams, guests, public and private rooms, posts, profiles, uploads, comments, live chat, and direct messages.
Prohibited conduct
- Creating, requesting, possessing through the service, sharing, linking to, or threatening to distribute CSAM, including AI-generated, altered, or simulated material depicting child sexual abuse.
- Grooming, sexual solicitation, sexualised contact with a child, sextortion, trafficking, or arranging exploitation. This includes attempting to move a child to another service for these purposes.
- Sexualising children, sharing their private information to facilitate harm, or using gifts, money, threats, or deception to exploit them.
- Encouraging, organising, or broadcasting any of the above. Report concerns privately and leave investigations to the appropriate authorities.
How to report
Use the Report option in VideoVerse wherever it appears. If you cannot access the app or cannot find a reporting option, use Contact Us at https://videoverse.live/contact and mark the message “Urgent child safety”. Parents, carers and witnesses can report too. Include the username, stream or post link if available, the approximate time and time zone, and a short description. Do not download, screenshot, forward or attach suspected CSAM. If a child is in immediate danger in the UK, call 999. Outside the UK, call your local emergency number.
How VideoVerse responds
We prioritise child safety reports and limit access to case information to those who need it. We may stop a livestream, restrict access, remove content, or suspend or permanently ban accounts. We preserve relevant records securely where necessary and lawful. We remove known CSAM from the service and report confirmed CSAM to the appropriate regional authority or NCMEC, as applicable. We refer urgent threats to the appropriate authorities. We may limit what we share about a case to protect children, privacy and investigations.
